Based on Fan by Oscar Wilde play Lady Windermere is a good woman in a romantic comedy, elegantly situated on the Italian Riviera in the 1930s. In the movie, the marriage between a young couple at risk by the gossip through the couple's knowledge of high society.
Mrs. Erlynne (Helen Hunt) has just reached the coast of Amalfi and captures the attention of all men living in this society of the upper crust by the sea.
